Very expected game when 10th ranked Tesvikiye (3-10) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Galatasaray (8-5) 66-58. It was a very good performance for Acar Sen (193-2003) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Umut Sener (-2002) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Yigit Uysal (184-2004) replied with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Utku Pelit (-2003) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Tesvikiye. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Galatasaray have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Fenerbahce and Besiktas. Tesvikiye lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Tofas. Galatasaray will play against league's second-placed Gaziantep at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
