Very predictable result in Giessen where third ranked Loewen (15-7) defeated 9th ranked Rackelos (8-12) 103-99 on Thursday. Loewen made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Ivorian-French swingman Guy Landry Edi (202-1988, college: Gonzaga) fired 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
