Very important is a home loss of Wolfpack against Amager on Saturday night. Host Wolfpack was defeated by Amager in a tough game in Herlev 80-85. American forward Derrick Woods (203-1997, college: St.Peter's) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Mitch Pelissier (190-1997, college: Concordia, IL) chipped in 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Pelissier is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Amager's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swedish center William Asplund (204-1993, college: Menlo) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Mile Nedic (201-1994, college: Lindenwood) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Four Wolfpack players scored in double figures. Amager will play against Copenhagen at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Wolfpack will have a break next round.
