There was no surprise in Panevezys where 11th ranked Prienai CBet (3-20) was defeated by third ranked Lietkabelis (18-5) 82-73 on Saturday. Lietkabelis outrebounded Prienai CBet 46-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Latvian center Kaspars Berzins (213-1985) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and Serbian center Djordje Gagic (210-1990, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points. At the losing side American guard Tahj Eaddy (188-1996, college: USC) responded with 18 points and the other American import forward Juwan Durham (211-1997, college: Notre Dame) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
