Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked SG Braunschweig (8-14) lost on the road to third ranked Aschersleben (17-6) 72-57 on Saturday. Aschersleben outrebounded SG Braunschweig 43-25 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Leo Alban (198-1999) who scored that evening 18 points and 8 rebounds and Christenvie Kwilu (197-2000) supported him with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Aschersleben's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 21 points by point guard Simon Roosch (198-2001) did not help to save the game for SG Braunschweig. Point guard Damjan Milutinovic (183-2000) added 11 points and 4 assists. Aschersleben have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position in North with 17-6 record having just five point less than leader Giessen.
