Regular Season Round 25: ETV Hamburg - Rhoendorf 85-78

There was a small surprise in Hamburg where twelfth ranked ETV (2-18) won against 9th ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (7-12) 85-78 on Sunday. ETV forced 20 Dragons Rhoendorf turnovers. Mubarak Salami (198-1996) fired 44 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Center Vladimir Migunov (195-1993) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Oshane Drews (198-2001) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Nicolas Buchholz (200-2001) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Newly promoted ETV maintains twelfth place in North with 2-18 record. Dragons Rhoendorf at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. ETV will meet at home league's leader Muenster in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against Rist Wedel (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
