Everything went according to plan when fourteenth ranked MBC (8-14) defeated 17th ranked Skyliners (5-17) in Weissenfels 81-75 on Sunday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MBC made 7 blocks. Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-1992, college: Howard Col., TX) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American guard Jamel Morris (193-1992, college: Fairmont St.) accounted for 19 points. Four MBC players scored in double figures. MBC's coach Igor Jovovic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Will Cherry (185-1991, college: Montana) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Dutch center Matt Haarms (221-1997, college: BYU) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Skyliners in the defeat.
