Very expected game in Ankara where 13th ranked Antalya 07 (6-16) was defeated by fourth ranked Nesibe (16-5) 70-66 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nesibe dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Antalya 07's 22. The game was dominated by American players. Center Alaina Coates (193-1995, college: S.Carolina) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jessica Thomas (168-1994, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side swingman Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) responded with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Nesibe have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Nesibe maintains fourth position with 16-5 record. Antalya 07 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 16 games lost.
