Gmunden Swans delivered the fifteenth win on Sunday night. This time they beat UBSC Graz (10-10) 78-68. The game without a history. Gmunden Swans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Stephon Jelks (198-1996, college: Mercer) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Branden Aughburns (206-1996, college: Holy Family) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Randy Haynes (193-1995, college: ODU) who recorded 23 points and forward Tanner Giddings (208-1994, college: Chico St.) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Gmunden Swans are again looking forward to face UBSC Graz (#4) on the road in the next round. UBSC Graz will have a break next round.
