Second Stage Round 4: BAC - Horsens IC 84-87

Sixth-ranked BAC (7-15) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Horsens IC (14-8) in Aarhus. The visitors from Horsens managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84. However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of South Sudanese center Koch Bar (208-1996, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Bosnian forward Vedran Borovcanin (199-1985) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Marcus Vinther (195-2002) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Gustav Johansen (197-2000) added 20 points in the effort for BAC. Five Horsens IC and four BAC players scored in double figures. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Horsens IC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Naestved. BAC lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost. Horsens IC will play against higher ranked Randers (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BAC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Aarhus to the arena Bakken.
