Rather expected game when 11th ranked Brasov (4-19) was defeated at home by ninth ranked CSM Targoviste (8-15) 63-58 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 18-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. CSM Targoviste forced 19 Brasov turnovers. The former international Gabriela Irimia (183-1990) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Carla Popescu (168-2000) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Serbian guard Maja Scekic (170-1987) responded with 16 points and 7 assists and Serbian forward Latinka Dusanic (175-1990) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. CSM Targoviste moved-up to eighth place. Brasov lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 19 games lost.
