Rather expected game when 10th ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (7-14) lost to eighth ranked Kangaroos (11-11) in Iserlohn 79-89 on Wednesday. Strangely Dragons Rhoendorf outrebounded Kangaroos 43-23 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kangaroos made 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for French-Guinean Tidjan Keita (207-1996) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Croatian point guard Toni Prostran (183-1991) accounted for 17 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Oshane Drews (198-2001) came up with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Paul Albrecht (208-1993) added 13 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Dragons Rhoendorf in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kangaroos. They moved-up to seventh place. Dragons Rhoendorf lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost.
