Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Patriotes (3-12) was outscored at home by second ranked LSU-Kaunas (15-3) 69-48 on Friday. LSU-Kaunas forced 28 Patriotes turnovers. The winners were led by the former international guard Dovile Luksiene (174-1992) who scored that evening 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals and guard Brigita Mockeviciute (174-1999) supported her with 14 points. Even 12 points and 4 assists by guard Ramune Eskertaite (173-1997) did not help to save the game for Patriotes. Forward Justina Burbaite-Maciuliene (171-1986) added 13 points for the hosts. Patriotes' coach Lina Dambrauskaite gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. LSU-Kaunas have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
