We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Kufstein where sixth ranked Towers (7-12) beat 5th ranked Mustangs (10-9) 90-81 on Saturday. Mustangs were trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-17 charge of Towers, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Mustangs' 28. They outrebounded Mustangs 33-21 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Slovenian point guard Luka Bozak (187-2000) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Spanish guard Ignacio Trujillo (191-1998) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ian Moschik (203-1996) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and Paul Schuecker (194-1999) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Towers and four Mustangs players scored in double figures. Towers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Piraten. Loser Mustangs keep the fifth position with nine games lost.
