Second Stage Round 6: Randers - Bakken 77-107
Date: March 26, 2022
BasketLigaen top team - Bakken (22-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Randers (14-9) 107-77. Bakken shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American center Travis Taylor (203-1990, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) notched 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-1991, college: Calgary, agency: Slash Sports) supported him with 20 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Anders Sommer felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds by American-Jamaican power forward Reginald Kissoonlal (213-1996, college: Marian, IN, agency: One Motive Sports) did not help to save the game for Randers. American guard Brandon Randolph (187-1995, college: Utah Valley) added 17 points and 10 assists. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-1 record. Randers at the other side keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Bakken will play against Horsens IC (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Randers will play against the league's second-placed Svendborg and hope to get back on the winning track.
