Regular Season Round 26: Kagitspor - Mamak 80-77

The most exciting game of round 26 in the TBL took place in Izmit. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Mamak (13-11) to eighth ranked Kagitspor (12-12) 80-77 on Saturday evening. Kagitspor outrebounded Mamak 46-23 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Brady Skeens (202-1995, college: Washburn, agency: One Motive Sports) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Corin Henry (185-1988, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Kagitspor players scored in double figures. American point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) responded with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Utku Yucedag (198-1994) scored 13 points. Mamak's coach Murat Dikmen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kagitspor have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 12-12 record. Mamak at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. Kagitspor are looking forward to face Balikesir (#9) on the road in the next round. Mamak will play against the league's second-placed Samsun and will have a slim chance for a victory.
