TKBL top team - Emlak (27-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Yalova Vip (18-10) in Istanbul 85-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Yalova Vip. Emlak dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Yalova Vip's 28. They outrebounded Yalova Vip 53-32 including a 43-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Emlak looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Yalova Vip's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Sasha Goodlett (195-1990, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Saynur Tozlu (189-1986) contributed with 5 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Emlak's coach Murat Alkas felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Cierra Dillard (176-1996, college: Buffalo) replied with 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and center Basak Altunbey (189-1996) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Yalova Vip. Emlak maintains first position with 27-1 record. Yalova Vip at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost.
