Regular Season Round 28: Bodrum - Karsiyaka 100-71

There was an upset when higher ranked Karsiyaka (10-17) was smashed by fifteenth ranked Bodrum (6-22) in Mugla 100-71 on Saturday. Bodrum dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Karsiyaka's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by American guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Bahar Kocaoglu (-1991) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Bodrum had such big advantage that coach felt comfortable to give the chance to play for 11 players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by Meliha Kiroglanoglu (-1999) did not help to save the game for Karsiyaka. Forward Doga Comba (185-1994) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Five Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Bodrum maintains fifteenth position with 6-22 record. Karsiyaka lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 17 games lost.
