Very important is a road loss of third ranked Dacka (17-7) against tenth ranked Bursaspor (13-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Dacka was edged by Bursaspor in a tough game in Bursa 81-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dacka. Bursaspor made 25-of-27 charity shots (92.6 percent) during the game. Dacka was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American-Central African center Kevarrius Hayes (206-1997, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. American-Montenegrin point guard Derek Needham (180-1990, college: Fairfield) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Troy Caupain (193-1995, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) with 26 points and 8 assists and the other American import Nathan Boothe (206-1994, college: Toledo) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Dacka's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bursaspor have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Dacka at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Bursaspor will play against Socar Petkim (#15) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dacka will play against Gaziantep (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
