Very predictable result when second ranked Bayern Muenchen (19-6) outscored at home 9th ranked Hakro Merlins (12-11) 93-64 on Sunday. They outrebounded Hakro Merlins 38-21 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bayern Muenchen looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Hakro Merlins' players. It was a great evening for naturalized Bosnian Nihad Djedovic (197-1990, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. American DeShaun Thomas (201-1991, college: Ohio St.) helped adding 16 points. Bayern Muenchen's coach Andrea Trinchieri felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
