There was no surprise when 8th ranked Limburg (10-13) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Kronberg (13-7) 83-65 on Sunday. Naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-1989, college: MSUB) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ben Karbe (202-2002) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Kronberg players scored in double figures. Noah Westerhaus (200-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Julius Zurna (188-1986) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Kronberg maintains fourth position in South West with 13-7 record. Loser Limburg keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. Kronberg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Limburg will play against Ludwigsburg (#3) and hope to secure a win.
