Regular Season Round 21: Raiders - KOS 68-64

There was a change at the 2.Bundesliga leadership position after last games. Round 21 most important game was a defeat of league's leader KOS (12-7). They were defeated by second ranked Raiders Tirol (13-6) 68-64 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of KOS. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-64. Raiders Tirol dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to KOS's 30. Slovenian guard Ziga Habat (193-1997, college: Highland, IL) stepped up and scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Vincentian-Trinidad and Tobago center John Gardiner (206-1986, college: SHSU) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Slovenian forward Marko Gutalj (201-2000) with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Slovenian point guard Grega Sajevic (187-1996) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four KOS players scored in double figures. Raiders Tirol keeps a position of league leader. KOS at the other side dropped to the second place with seven games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Raiders.
