Rather expected game in Bucuresti where 12th ranked Focsani (8-17) was defeated by tenth ranked Dinamo B. (11-13) 72-61 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo B.. Focsani managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Focsani 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-1993, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and the other American import Keith Clanton (206-1990, college: UCF) who added 4 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Onno Steger (196, college: WCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian Pavle Reljic (193-1993) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Focsani players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dinamo B. moved-up to ninth place. Focsani lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
