Finals Game 2: AEL - Anagennises 77-73

AEL topped Anagennises to draw things even in the championship series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Anagennises won fourth quarter 22-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Anagennises helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international swingman Petra Orlovic (178-1990) had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Jenna Smith (190-1988, college: Illinois) chipped in 5 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four AEL players scored in double figures. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds and naturalized Bulgarian power forward Styliana Velinova (192-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Anagennises' coach Iraklis Pittakas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
