There was no surprise in Aarhus where 6th ranked BAC (7-19) was defeated by fourth ranked Naestved (16-9) 84-74 on Thursday. Naestved made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game, while BAC only scored eight points from the stripe. It was a great evening for Burkinabe-American Bubu Palo (185-1991, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American Kameron Williams (188-1994, college: Ohio St.) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American center Keane Thomann (211-1989, college: MSSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Marcus Vinther (195-2002) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Naestved maintains fourth place with 16-9 record. BAC lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 19 games lost. Naestved will meet at home league's leader Bakken in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BAC will play against Randers (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
