The biggest surprise of round 7 in U19 League was guest Fenerbahce's (9-7) road victory over 5th ranked Darussafaka (8-8) 60-59 on Thursday evening. Forward Eren Deniz (201-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Baran Aslan (184-2004) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Center Bora Yasar (206-2003) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and Emre Akdumbek (-2003) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Darussafaka's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Fenerbahce moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Galatasaray. Darussafaka at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Fenerbahce is looking forward to face Tesvikiye (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Darussafaka will play against Ozel Gelisim Koleji in Izmir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
