No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Tesvikiye (6-10) defeated at home bottom-ranked Petkim Spor (2-14) 77-63 on Thursday. Tesvikiye forced 25 Petkim Spor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Utku Pelit (-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Ege Eskinazi (-2002) helped adding 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Tesvikiye's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Gokay Hacioglu (-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds and Anil Cevahir (-2003) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tesvikiye. They maintain ninth place with 6-10 record. Petkim Spor lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Tesvikiye will meet at home higher ranked Fenerbahce (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Petkim Spor will play against the league's leader Gaziantep (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
