Five Hamburg Towers players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by Belgian swingman Elias Lasisi (191-1992) did not help to save the game for Hakro Merlins. The former international power forward Bogdan Radosavljevic (213-1993) added 9 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hamburg Towers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Hakro Merlins lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Hamburg Towers will meet BG Goettingen (#8) on the road in the next round. Hakro Merlins will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
