An interesting game for Telekom Baskets (21-7) which hosted in Bonn 3rd ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (19-8). First ranked Telekom Baskets managed to get a 9-point victory 97-88. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of EnBW Ludwigsburg. They outrebounded EnBW Ludwigsburg 43-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Javontae Hawkins (196-1993, college: Fordham) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright (176-1995, college: Arizona) who added 21 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Jonah Radebaugh (190-1997, college: N.Colorado) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Ethan Happ (208-1996, college: Wisconsin) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Telekom Baskets have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-7 record. EnBW Ludwigsburg at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Telekom Baskets will play against bottom-ranked Skyliners (#18) in Frankfurt in the next round which should be an easy win for them. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play at home against ratiopharm Ulm (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
