Very important is a home loss of third ranked Dacka (17-8) against fifth ranked Gaziantep (17-9) on Saturday night. Host Dacka was defeated by Gaziantep in a tough game in Istanbul 71-76. American Jarmar Gulley (196-1991, college: Missouri St.) fired 29 points for the winners. French center Alpha Kaba (208-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. International point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) produced 20 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and American point guard Troy Caupain (193-1995, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Gaziantep have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Dacka keeps the third position with eight games lost. Gaziantep will meet at home Socar Petkim (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dacka will play against Yalova (#13) and hope to secure a win.
