Second Stage Round 7: BAC - Bakken 83-89

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Aarhus: Bakken (#1) and BAC (#6). BAC was defeated at home 83-89 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for American forward Ryan Evans (202-1990, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import center Travis Taylor (203-1990, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Jacob Sinding (191-1996) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Keane Thomann (211-1989, college: MSSU) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-1 record. BAC lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 19 games lost. Bakken will meet Naestved (#4) on the road in the next round. BAC will play against Randers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
