Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Kayseri (7-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Botas A. (14-9) 92-78 on Saturday. Botas A. shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Jelena Dubljevic (191-1987, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American Samoan-American guard Jazmine Davis (170-1993, college: Washington) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots). At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Brooque Williams (172-1989, college: California, PA) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and her fellow American import point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-1988, college: Temple) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Kayseri players scored in double figures. Kayseri's coach Ayhan Avci rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Botas A. have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Galatasaray. Kayseri at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Antalya 07. Botas A. will meet at home Besiktas (#8) in the next round. Kayseri will play against Cankaya (#9) in Ankara and hope to secure a win.
