Not a big story in a game in Balikesir where 12th ranked TED Ankara (10-15) was defeated by third ranked Sigortam.net (19-6) 94-84 on Sunday. Sigortam.net shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Garrett Sim (188-1990, college: Oregon, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 4 assists. Forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-1991) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Omer Kucuk (188-2001) with 20 points and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Kevin Kaspar (183-1992, college: WKU) scored 13 points. Four Sigortam.net and five TED Ankara players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Sigortam.net. They moved-up to second place. TED Ankara lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
