U19 League top team - Gaziantep (15-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Petkim Spor (2-15) in Izmir 78-68. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Emir Sivas (176-2005) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Ufuk Ertan (-2003) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Gaziantep's coach Faruk Kokmen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Akkan Atasoy (196-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Gokay Hacioglu (-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Four Petkim Spor players scored in double figures. Gaziantep have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-2 record. Petkim Spor lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Gaziantep will play against Turk Telekom (#11) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
