Very predictable result in Varna where second ranked Balkan (18-5) defeated bottom-ranked Cherno More (1-22) 84-72 on Tuesday. Balkan forced 20 Cherno More turnovers. American point guard Ahmaad Rorie (184-1995, college: Montana) scored 16 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Christian Jones (201-1993, college: UNLV, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Guard Martin Kotsev (195-1998, agency: BIG) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Martin Jordanov (207-2002) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Balkan maintains second position with 18-5 record having just three points less than leader Rilski.
