The most important game in the last round took place in Ulm between second ranked Ludwigsburg (15-7) and eleventh ranked Ulm BBU 01 (10-13) on Wednesday night. Dejan Bruce (205-2002) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Luca Stuebel (190-2004) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ludwigsburg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ulm BBU 01 moved-up to eighth place in South West, which they share with Fellbach. Ludwigsburg at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Ulm BBU 01 is looking forward to face league's second-placed Stuttgart on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ludwigsburg will play against Reutlingen and is hoping to win this game.
