Regular Season Round 22: SKM I - Saule 87-67

U18 League top team - SKM I (19-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Saule (5-17) in Vilniaus 87-67. The game without a history. SKM I led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 26 Saule turnovers. SKM I players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Paulius Velutis (188-2004) notched 30 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals to lead the effort and Gediminas Alisas (196-2004) supported him with 6 points and 10 rebounds. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by Gustas Blinkinas (-2004) did not help to save the game for Saule. Point guard Jokubas Stropus (168-2004) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Four Saule players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SKM I have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory SKM I went down to second position due to points difference, which they share with Zalgiris II. Saule at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
