NBL top team - Rilski (23-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Cherno More (1-24) in Varna 93-71. Rilski dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 28. They outrebounded Cherno More 46-32 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Cherno More's players. The winners were led by American center Barret Benson (208-1997, college: SIU) who scored that evening 13 points and 9 rebounds and Armenian-American swingman AJ Hess (201-1994, college: S.Dakota St.) supported him with 18 points. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Mihail Moldov (195-2001, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Cherno More. Swingman Aleksandar Stoykov (197-2001) added 6 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-2 record. Cherno More lost twenty third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. Rilski will meet Akademik P.
