Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked 46ers (6-22) lost to eleventh ranked s Oliver Baskets (12-17) in Giessen 97-110 on Saturday. s Oliver Baskets shot 63.1 percent from the field and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for s Oliver Baskets especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Cameron Hunt (192-1997, college: Southwestern, KS) who led the winners and scored 28 points (made all of his eight free throws). The former international power forward Filip Stanic (207-1998, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American guard Kendale McCullum (194-1996, college: Lewis, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists and American-South Sudanese Nuni Omot (206-1994, college: Baylor) added 18 points respectively for 46ers in the defeat. Five s Oliver Baskets and four 46ers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. s Oliver Baskets have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain eleventh place with 12-17 record. 46ers lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. s Oliver Baskets will meet at home MBC (#16) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. 46ers will play against Skyliners in Frankfurt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
