No shocking result in a game when first ranked Fenerbahce (22-6) beat 8th ranked Tofas (15-13) in Bursa 82-78 on Saturday. Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-1993, college: Dayton, agency: BeoBasket) notched 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Serbian swingman Marko Guduric (196-1995, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 20 points. Even 20 points by Mexican Francisco Cruz (191-1989, college: Wyoming) did not help to save the game for Tofas. Canadian point guard Tyler Ennis (188-1994, college: Syracuse) added 14 points and 8 assists. Four Fenerbahce and five Tofas players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Fenerbahce maintains first position with 22-6 record, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Loser Tofas dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. Fenerbahce will meet at home Turk Telekom (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tofas will play against Galatasaray in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
