The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Manisa (21-6) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by eleventh ranked TED Ankara (12-15) 95-79. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Manisa. TED Ankara dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Manisa's 30. TED Ankara had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Forward Deniz Celen (203-1997, college: SFC, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Cihat Dalgali (205-2001) chipped in 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Diante Watkins (174-1990, college: RMU) responded with 22 points and 8 assists and forward Mustafa Gorur (204-1988) scored 13 points. Five TED Ankara and four Manisa players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TED Ankara moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Manisa at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost.
