U19 League top team - Gaziantep (17-2) added another victory to their record on Monday. This time they beat fifth ranked Galatasaray (11-9) 75-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Galatasaray. It was a quality performance for forward Emirali Gokturk (203-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds. Baran Erisik (-2003) accounted for 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Acar Sen (193-2003) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ege Yildizoglu (186-2004) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Galatasaray in the defeat. Galatasaray's coach Erhan Toker tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gaziantep have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-2 record. Loser Galatasaray keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Pinar Karsiyaka. Gaziantep will meet Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Galatasaray's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Darussafaka.
