The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Gaziantep (18-4) in Izmir on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji (11-10) 75-69. Ozel Gelisim Koleji outrebounded Gaziantep 52-40 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ozgur Cengiz (177-2005) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Muhammet Gunes (201-2003) who added 10 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Koray Cekici (186-2002) with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Arda Birkeser (-2005) scored 10 points. Five Ozel Gelisim Koleji and four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Gaziantep's coach Faruk Kokmen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ozel Gelisim Koleji have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pinar Karsiyaka. Gaziantep at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Ozel Gelisim Koleji's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Izmir Pinar Karsiyaka.
