Very predictable result when first ranked Cluj Napoca (28-2) rolled over on the road 6th ranked Timisoara (18-12) 90-70 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Cluj Napoca. Timisoara managed to win second period 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cluj Napoca dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Timisoara's 38 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The former international point guard Giordan Watson (179-1985, college: CMU, agency: BeoBasket) nailed 16 points and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Bosnian-Croatian center Andrija Stipanovic (208-1986, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 11 points and 4 assists. Cluj Napoca's coach Mihai Silvasan used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
