TBL top team - Manisa (22-6) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Balikesir (13-15) 98-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Balikesir. Manisa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Balikesir's 24. They outrebounded Balikesir 43-27 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Manisa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Diante Watkins (174-1990, college: RMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists. His fellow American import power forward Andre Williamson (203-1989, college: App State) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Manisa players scored in double figures. American forward Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Omercan Engin (198-1998) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Balikesir. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Manisa maintains first place with 22-6 record. Balikesir at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost.
