An interesting game was played in Istanbul where Pinar Karsiyaka (#7) won against host Dacka (#4) 84-80 on Saturday evening. Strangely Dacka outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 33-19 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tony Taylor (184-1990, college: GWU) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 assists and American-Tunisian guard Michael Roll (198-1987, college: UCLA, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 15 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. British center Gabriel Olaseni (211-1991, college: Iowa) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Puerto Rican Isaiah Pineiro (200-1995, college: San Diego) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pinar Karsiyaka (18-12) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bursaspor and Bahcesehir. Loser Dacka keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Gaziantep.
