Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Balikesir and 11th ranked Final Spor had identical 13-16 record. This time Balikesir used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Bursa 94-87 on Sunday night. Balikesir looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-1995, college: Niagara) who scored 30 points and 9 assists. The other American import forward Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 20 rebounds. Four Balikesir players scored in double figures. Point guard Erdem Ilter (186-1990) produced 14 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and American center Marvin Jefferson (206-1986, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) added 19 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Balikesir maintains tenth position with 14-16 record. Loser Final Spor keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
