Bottom-ranked Bucuresti E. managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive losses on Sunday night. This time newly promoted Bucuresti E. edged eighth-ranked Brasov 58-55. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-14. But Brasov won second period 15-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Brasov 45-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Robert Spoitoru (-2005) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Iulian Andone (-2004) contributed with 8 points and 20 rebounds for the winners.
