Regular Season Round 2: Westerstede - Rendsburg 67-72

But Westerstede was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Rendsburg 72-67 on Saturday night. Rendsburg dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Westerstede's 18. American forward Jo'Vontae Millner-Criss (198-1997, college: MTSU) notched 22 points to lead the effort and forward Henning Rixen (196-1999) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Rendsburg's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 31 points by point guard Luca Michels (183-2002) did not help to save the game for Westerstede. Point guard Fritz Hemschemeier (182-1998) added 6 points and 7 assists for the hosts. Rendsburg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Westerstede will play against Potsdam RH and hope to win that game.
