Another interesting game for Hamburg Towers (2-1) which played on the court of Bayreuth (1-2). Hamburg Towers had an easy win 95-79. Hamburg Towers dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bayreuth's 32. Hamburg Towers forced 19 Bayreuth turnovers. Bayreuth was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard Kendale McCullum (184-1996, college: Lewis) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hamburg Towers will play against Bayern Muenchen in Munich in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bayreuth will play at home against Hakro Merlins (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
